Wordpress.org Question?

On the self-hosted version of Wordpress (.org) can I embed Google Adsense code on my page? I know that on the Wordpress.com hosted site you cannot, but how about on the self hosted version? How about other advertising? Thank you.

Yup, you can embed anything you want on the self hosted version, either in the code for your layout or in a widget.
