i copied the code, went to view, source, and put the code in the html somewhere between <body and </body. then i clicked save. why wont the ad show up in my blog??? please help! thanks!

If you are using blogger modern widget based template .. paste the code in a widget rather than the template…
code placed at certain positions of the template will be simply deleted by the blogger program as it disturbs the basic settings of the template.

You need to have tags which describe the content of your page. You need to edit the html and add the tags. Adsense will check this meta tags and generate ads based on your site content.
