CPM – cost-per-1000Impression will not give you a lot if your site is new ones..
How google paid you is depends on the bid of the ads, lets say the site bid for 20 cent per click, you might get 10% or more, and google take the rest.. The point is, it depends on the ads..
So, it goes down to what type of blog/website you have.. as the ads are targeted (meaning, it will be more or less have the same content as your website’s content)..
For me, my blog is about internet and computers, it’s quite encouraging though, last night I saw, average per click of my income is 40 cents..
So, it goes back to your site really.. So my advice is: be Patient, and start thinking to write good content and crive traffic..
Don’t try to click yourself too, this thing called Google is a smart guy.. ;p
    Hope this helps

You can’t really trust the reports until the next day. If you just started, it will take some time get start seeing something. Are you sure its your publisher number? Did you purchase one of those ready for adsense sites? I started working with adsense a while ago and was in the same boat. I did my research and read read read and I have learned to optimize my ads and earn more revenue.

those 3 clicks must have been from you. they don’t count clicks from you.
Also you need to get more like 10k Impressions before you get near 100 clicks. Its a lot of work making money from ads.
