  The best topic will be the topic that:
  a. Attracts people willing and looking for ways to spend money — because they are the ones most receptive to ads.
  b. Attracts the high spending demographics that advertisers love — a site that attracts CEOs or techno-loving geeks is more valuable to advertisers than stamp collectors or squirrel lovers.
  Take for example a site on the topic of “mortgages” — this is a high paying keyword because people visiting sites about mortgages are actively looking for mortgage providers. They are actively looking to buy a mortgage.
  Or a European travel site, for example. Visitors to these sites are thinking of travelling to Europe, and if the site provides info on places to visit, the ads that work best are those of hotels and plane fares — which are part of the information a person looking to travel to Europe would be interested in.
  A gaming site on the other hand attracts people looking to play games. If your site can get large traffic, a CPM type of advertising (banner ads, etc) will work best rather than contextual advertising or cost per click. Gaming users will go to the site to play and will not be interested in clicking on the ads so CPC ads are not likely to work (you’ll get very low click throughs)
  When thinking of monetizing your site through advertising, consider various mediums. There are several ways you can earn money from advertising:
  1. Join an advertising network. Advertising networks are organizations that aggregate Web sites that offer advertising space, and sell banner ads (and other advertising options) across them. Traffic requirement is often a minimum of 5,000 monthly impressions, although many do not accept sites hosted by free page services.
