i am massively educated in addiction and have a major detailed book due out this year. can i make a good deal of money by building a 600 page addiction self help website instead of selling it in e book form. i mean what is the potential for a properly optimized site of 600 pages with ads on every page. yes adsense does not pay that much and i know i can make more by selling ads directly to the advertisers without any middle man. so has anyone had experience with a huge site thats optimized and getting say 20,000-60,000 hits a month. im really looking for feedback here. i know its a hard question to directly answer and sure a million hits a month would help me greatly too.

I have a good idea, im trying to learn HTML an CSS and i thought to myself “what would be a good website for me to test my skills with” and i play video games so i thought why not make a very basic video game review site. Only text and images to begin with of course but then build on it from there, i might even try to sign up for google adsense, and amazon associate so that when people come to the site they can click on the advertisements and i earn a bit of money whilst learning html css etc AND doing something i like doing, informing people about video games whether they’re bad or good, loads of people wanna know if a game is good or bad before they spend money on it, sure there’s loads of review sites already but i still think its a good idea, just wanted a few opinions, what do you think? Is it a good idea?

I’m looking for a freelance writing site I can join for extra income. Been a content writer before so I know this job isn’t for the wanna-be “get rich quick.” I’m willing to put the time and effort to writing about topics I’m knowledgeable about and enjoy so I can generate more earnings. What I’d like to know is what blog-for-pay site should I join? I’ve looked at Associated Content, Xomba, HubPages and a few others. They all seem to use AdSense. Is any of them worth it? If so, how many articles do I have to write each day to get a monthly paycheck? What topics are in demand?
Please note I’m not going to write about things I care nothing for, just to earn money. But I do want to know if the subjects I like will make me money or not.
What’s your advice? (No plugging, please.)

I have a music site that allows people to search for tracks or artists or albums and then listen to them streamed online. It does not require any software installation and the streaming music player is proprietary opens up in browser. The site is desgined to look google like simple, I will have two banners one on top of the search results and one the bottom. Also I will have one banner ad in the music player.
I get 13,000 uniques a day most of whom are regulars since they come back to the site daily when they want to listen to music and many of whom are on for extended periods of time, as they listen to several tracks.
I am using adsense right now but think I will make more money by using weekly rate banners. For example $500 a week for one of the main banners or $300 a week for the music player banner.
This will be first venture in online advertising so any help is appreciated.

I recently bought an adult turnkey site in hopes to make some money. Although, I am have regrets because it has been two and a half months and I haven’t seen a dime. I put my site in search engines like Yahoo search marketing and Google Adsense but I am a student on a budget, and it seems they just take money away slowly…I know it takes time, I am a patient person, but I don’t necessarily have a ton of cash to put down on advertising. Does anybody know ways to get some profit! I appreciate your time.

I was shocked to see that my site, www.trueghoststories.co.uk, is no longer showing on the first page of Google search results, a position which it was enjoying for quite some time (it was actually No. 1 for the search term “true ghost stories”). I do not know why this should suddenly be so, for as far as I know, I haven’t violated any of Google’s Terms of Agreement.
The only pages of my site that are still showing are just one or two pages of articles I have put up on the site (e.g. The Winchester Mystery House). But no index page anymore. Why???
As a consequence of this sudden disappearance of my site’s index page from Google search, my visitors have dropped considerably, and being an Adsense advertiser, I am losing money.
Please can somebody have a look at my site to ascertain exactly why it should have suddenly disappeared from Google’s front page?

I have a romanian site (GameStation) which I tried to ad some Google Ads on it. I completed the form on AdSense, but there’s one thing which I can’t understand: you have to choose the language of your site; romanian isn’t in this list, but there are a lor of romanian sites using Google Ads to get some money. Here are a few of them: Cracotasii.ro and Top40.ro (this last site shows Google Ads only one time in about five refreshes). What do I have to do in order to place Google Ads on my romanian site, something else than translating all the site into english (maybe romanians can help me 
)? Thanks!
