Seo – Do You Need To Buy A Keyword Database?

July 17th, 2009 at 03:31pm Under adsense keywords

A discussion of the types of keywords databases that are on the market and whether or not buying one is part of an excellent search engine optimization strategy.
If you go onto Clickbank and similar sites that market books and products about SEO strategy you will notice that quite a few internet gurus are selling databases or lists of keywords that are supposed to work to draw traffic to your website no matter what. These Golden adsense keywords” have been compiled to help shoot your site to the top of the search engines and thereby increase traffic and sales. These are top paying adsense keywords that pay up to $10 per click as opposed to the cent or two per click that seems to be the optimum result of using Google’s keyword tools.
The key selling ploy of the people who offer these software data bases is that it to find these keywords by yourself would take weeks or maybe even months of research to find out by trial and error what works and what doesn’t. The real benefit of using this keyword software is that it spares you time as well as turns up hundreds of keywords that you would not normally have thought of.
This type of database is usually sold as dynamic software that is usually up and running and minutes. A really good program will also break down the price of each keyword so that you can target keywords that are within your budget. It will be able to tell you the number of times that a keyword that you may have thought up has been searched for so that you don’t waste time with a keyword that nobody ever bothers clicking on.
However remember that software is useless if you haven’t used your brain in the first place to come up with a product that is in its own searchable niche. If this program does not cover your category then it is useless as all it will do is bring you tons of surfers as opposed to targeted buyers.

How to Make Adsense Work For You

July 13th, 2009 at 09:38am Under adsense keywords

How would you like to work with a company that has been able to earn billions even in the midst of a bad economy? With this company, you would have no deadlines, bosses or stress. In fact, if you like writing or blogging, you might actually have fun with the ‘work.’ Best of all, you would earn money while working in your pajamas.
Well, thanks to Google and their Adsense program, all of these things can become a reality. However, you need to learn how to make Adsense work for your situation. You can’t expect to get rich overnight, even with high paying Adsense keywords. Instead, you need to take things slowly, using old-fashioned SEO to get your Adsense sites noticed.
What is involved with old-fashioned SEO? Basically, you write your content using Internet keywords that contain a lot of searches yet minimal competition. Keyword analyzers are the tools to use in this endeavor. You can even use Google’s Adsense keyword tool, if you want to see how much Google charges its customers for the term. This will give you some idea of the type of profit you could make when incorporating this keyword into your content.
From there you need to build backlinks to your sites. You can build these by submitting your site to directories (both paid and free), along with writing press releases and articles with links back to your site. You can also ask other webmasters to link to your site. Any way you can, you need to get links back to your website, which will increase your rankings in the search engines. This is an over-simplified explanation of SEO, but it’s what you will need to spend your time doing.
There is another way to make Adsense work for you. It’s called article marketing. To do this, you will have to create additional content that is apart from your website. This content needs to contain appropriate keywords, just like it would if it was going to be on your site for real.
Anyway, after you write your articles, you need to submit it to article directories. Ezine Articles has the most pagerank, but you will need to get a domain name for your website. In addition, you will need to wait a few days for your article to get approved. If it isn’t approved, you must make the appropriate changes and wait again before it will get indexed online.
If this is a problem for you, there’s the option of submitting your content on less stringent networks, such as Go Articles or Amazines. There are even sites that will make Adsense work for you even further, since they utilize a concept known as Adsense revenue-sharing. They work by giving you a portion of their Adsense earnings. Xoomba is an example.
After your articles are submitted, your Adsense site will begin to receive traffic. But don’t start there. You can also make Adsense work for you by using word-of-mouth marketing. Tell everyone you know about your site, and if it is good, they will spread the word too.

Adsense – Does It Really Work?

July 10th, 2009 at 09:30pm Under adsense keywords

Do high paying Google AdSense keywords work? It’s amazing how you can earn such easy money with the power of Google AdSense. Google describes AdSense as “a fast and easy way for web site publishers of all sizes to display relevant Google ads on their web site’s content pages and earn money.
Since people don’t have to come to your site to read your content, people subscribed to your RSS feed don’t see your AdSense ads or click on them – which is why the recommended way of using an RSS feed with your Google AdSense pages has been to use your RSS feed as a teaser. Looking at the first model – plainly the problem is to get many interested people to your web site – preferably those seeking information so that if they don’t find it on your site, they click on one of your AdSense ads and move onto another site – leaving you with a few cents as they leave you. Lastly look elsewhere – we found a great software program that lets you provide contextual adverts on your web site derived from the 1,000’s of high commission paying products in ClickBank.
As previously mentioned, AdSense is a program in which you get paid for your web site visitors clicking on targeted AdWords ads placed on your site. Google AdSense is a program launched by Google where publishers, another word for site owners, can display Google AdSense on their site in exchange for a share of the cost of the ad. Most website owners that participate in the Google AdSense program agree that the ads should not stand out from the rest of the site.
But multitudes of new AdSense web site owners – particularly those who purchased a package deal that locked them into hosting of their brand new AdSense web sites – might become a tad unhappy in the not so distant future. Obviously creating content for your site is an ongoing process, so once you’ve created at least 10 pages of quality information for your readers, you should create your web pages and optimize them for Google AdSense. To get an idea if some AdSense ads you see on the search engines have your pages, try to find web pages that have similar material to the content you are planning to create and look up their AdSense ads.
You will be able to concentrate on providing good quality AdSense content, as the search engines will be the ones finding the best ads in which to put your pages on. These businesses have hundreds of writers who are willing to write SEO keyword optimized, original content articles for your website at a minimal cost-especially when compared to the influx of cash you will make from your Google AdSense website from having quality content on your website. You can hire writers to write keyword optimized articles specifically for your website; however, turnaround time varies from site to site.
Posting incomplete versions of your Google AdSense valuable keyword articles at high traffic article sites can help you generate the sort of targeted traffic that can help you get lots of valuable clicks at your AdSense site. For sure, you should try to get some high paying AdSense keywords related to the theme of your website to increase profitability in your AdSense business while at the same time driving targeted traffic to your pages. Google AdSense picks up on keywords on your website-and the better the keywords, the more traffic you will generate to, and out of, your website.
Having the best keywords and best layout would be useless unless you are able to drive traffic to the website. It is important to write about specific topics, and sprinkle your blog entries with specific keywords to get the best results – and the highest revenue – with your Google AdSense ads.

7 Adsense Optimization Tips For Larger Paychecks

June 26th, 2009 at 09:34pm Under adsense secrets

Many bloggers and Webmasters have turned to Adsense in order to monetize their sites. However, as many of you are learning, making a killing with Adsense involves more than just throwing some ads up on your pages.
If you’ve been using Google’s AdSense on your Website or Blog, you’re probably wanting to generate even more traffic for your website, which in turn would translate to more AdSense clicks and a higher income. I mean, who wouldn’t want that, right?
How do you do this? You’ll never make much money with Adsense until you have a lot of traffic. I’ll let you in on an Adsense secret right now. Social traffic and tech traffic doesn’t convert well with Adsense. They are Adsense wise and rarely click on any ad, especially an Adsense ad.
Who clicks on them? Organic search traffic. Yeah, the horny teenagers and Senior Citzens. Those are your best clickers.
So here are a 7 tips for optimizing your Adsense websites.
First, you need to take care of is the actual source code and layout of your page. This has to be kept as simple as possible. The problem comes when AdSense and the search engines themselves begin to have troubles in extracting the most relevant keywords on your site because of a too complex layout. Simple templates are better!
Second, try to have each one of your pages target only one specific keyword. This way it is a lot easier for them to be indexed properly and for the AdSense ads to be consistent with the content of the site itself.
Third, try not to include too many hyperlinks in your page as well. This also means you should try not to use too many AdSense ads on your page either. I only use 1 or 2 Adsense ads per page. Using more will bring down the price per click your receive.
Fourth. If there are certain keywords you wish to target, make sure the word you wish to target is present in the title, in the first paragraphs as well as in the name of the file. While you’re at it you might want to ensure the word springs up in the page’s last paragraph. Not only is this good for Adsense optimization, but it’s good for overal website seo as well.
Fifth, it’s very important for your content to have original and compelling content. How do you do this? Well the easiest way to do it is to find something you’re really passionate about. That way, providing you give it a lot of effort you’re bound to have a great page quite fast.
Sixth, If the content you use in your site is in the public domain make sure that you at least give it an original title, and add an opening and a closing paragraph of your own.
This takes a little while, but if, after waiting, you still can’t find your page near the top, you should try rewriting your title and your first and last paragraphs. It doesn’t take much, often just changing a few words will give you the right results.
Seventh. Use good keyword tools that will help you in finding high paying keywords to include on your page that will drive visitors to your site more and more. I use Google Adword’s Keyword Tool. It will tell you how often the keyword is searched for. Also, there is a drop down menu that will tell you how much per click the advertisers are paying for a particular keyword or keyword phrase. I like to see keywords with at least a $4 or higher bid price. That way, I’ll usually end up with about a dollar. It’s been said that you’ll sometimes get around 25 percent of the bid price.
So those are about the basic techniques in search engine optimization. You can find a lot of computer tools to aid you in doing this, and of course, Google is a great place to search for this.
In the end, you’ll find that Adsense optimization is a complex topic, and entire books have been written on the topic as well. You might find that you have a lot of optimization you need to do in order to get more and more visitors to your site and clicking those precious AdSense banners.
You need to have optimized niche website templates for best results. You may find the best adsense templates and blog templates that are Adsense optimized are the simple ones with few outgoing links. Leave the templates with all the fancy bells and whistles for the beginners. They don’t covert well and they end up costing you Adsense clicks.

Your Domain Name + Adsense = Profit

June 25th, 2009 at 03:34am Under adsense money

Hello. My name is Mike Small and I have been an SEO consultant for about ten years. In October of 2007 I published an article about “AdSense Farming.” Since writing that article I have received over 100 emails from readers asking for a bit more on the subject. I just got one last night in fact, so I figured I’d add a little more search engine optimization flavor to the concept of making money with AdSense. But before I begin I would like to stress that this is not a method to get rich quick. I make anywhere from $50 to $150 per month/per site that I have built using this information. Of course it only costs about $1 and a half hour (one time) to build each one, so the profits are quite nice. So, here we go…

Over the past couple years I’ve heard hundreds, if not thousands of stories about people who got rich from Google AdSense. It seems strange that I’ve never actually met one. It feels almost like an urban legend in the making; “I know a guy who knows a guy who made a killing on AdSense.” Kind of strange, don’t you think?

Do you ever feel like the reality of big profit is close but just beyond your grasp? Yeah; so did I. The good news is; it’s not your fault. We are simply trying to attain the dream that some “friends of friends” have already attained. We’ve bought the so called “wealth building” products that promised us an overnight fortune, but for some reason we never made the big bucks. To be honest this really made me question myself. If they can do it, why can’t I? Then I realized that making money from AdSense is a lot like farming. Some crops (or keywords) yield a higher price than others and the more fields you have planted, the better your chances of making good money.

Of course, in this case your “field” is just a website, which can be had at a cost of next to nothing. So, all-in-all, even small profits are pretty much all profit. A few months ago I tried to apply this idea to the real world. And the results were quite nice. Within two weeks I was making an average of $3.50 per day; about $105 a month, per site. It doesn’t sound like a lot but for a one-time fee of $99 I can host up to 100 AdSense farms, forever. The hosting company even supplies free Web content that gets a ton of traffic for me. That’s free traffic clicking my AdSense links month after month, every single month.

So, how do you get started? It’s really easy and very inexpensive. I’ll show you exactly how I did it, step-by-step.

First, if you don’t already have one, sign up for a free Adsense account at http://www.google.com/adsense. But do NOT get your ad code yet. I have some tips that can triple your response rates – and income.

Next, sign up with http://www.WhyParkWeb.com or a similar service. Just be sure to pick one that can create content rich, search engine optimized site for you automatically. That’s how you make your AdSense money. Please Note: When I registered for this service it was $99 and would let you have 100 automatically created websites – forever.

If you go decide to go for it, here are some tips from a 10 year veteran search engine optimization specialist that will put your sites over the top!

Okay, let’s do this by the numbers…

#1 Find the best keywords

Google gets more searches than any other search engine so let’s peek into their database, shall we? Check out https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and type in any keyword or phrase you can think of that you believe your target audience is looking for. Not only will it give you tons of data on that and related keywords, it will also provide “Additional Keywords to Consider”, which is a section at the bottom of the page.

Try to use specific keyword phrases whenever possible. For example, if you are optimizing for a flower store, instead of “flowers” try “send flowers.” Now refine that a bit to reflect how people actually speak (”I am sending flowers.”) and try see what “sending flowers” gets you. WOW! As it turns out, “sending flowers” has very little competition and is extremely popular.

#2 Write a killer title Google loves

Take your most important specific and general keyword phrases and put them together, specific first; general second. Let’s use “sending flowers” and “flowers”. Now separate the keywords or phrases by a pipe (that vertical key over the Enter/Return key). We now have “sending flowers | flowers”. Now go back and grab one or two more relevant keywords like “wedding flowers” and “Mothers Day” and combine them like this “sending flowers | flowers for weddings, Mothers Day and more”.

Now you’ve covered all your bases and build a fantastic keyword rich title that won’t look like keyword spamming. You can also change the Mothers Day to Valentines Day, Easter, as needed.

#3 Write a META description that gets you noticed

This is important. Not only can this tip alone get you ahead of most competitors, but it’s also what readers see of your site before they decide to visit. You need to write something for people, but that search engines will like. Don’t worry. It’s a lot easier than it sounds.

Take all of your keywords and line them up in order of importance. Since “sending flowers” gets more searches than any other, let’s start there and use the same logic for the rest. Now we have, in order, “sending flowers”, “flowers”, “wedding flowers”, and “Mothers Day.” Be sure to improve your keyword prominence (relevance based on position) by using your best keyword within the first few words of the description, like this: “Sending flowers has never been easier. Here you will find inside tips on the least expensive ways to send the freshest wedding flowers, Mothers Day arrangements or whatever else you need.”

As you can see, we used all of our keywords without overloading the text and broke it up a little by adding some detail. It works great! Just try to keep the description at or under 250 characters (including spaces).

#4 Add great content

Why Park does 99% of the work for you. All you have to do is enter your keywords into the article finder provided by the “Research Your Keywords” link (located beside the keywords box.)

Without using any imagination at all, I found 172 articles in a few seconds…

sending flowers – 5 flowers – 151 wedding flowers – 16

Total Articles: 172

Add “roses” and get another 59! That’s 231 articles in 10 seconds. You get the idea – more general related keywords can take you over the top and give you a huge, content-rich search engine friendly site, in seconds!

#5 Use the best-pulling AdSense ad style and color combination

My click-through rate (CTR) tripled when I switched to this format.

Select ad size 336 x 280. If that seems too large, try 300 x 250. And try to make your ad border and ad background colors the same as your Website’s background color. It helps it blend in and take away some of the “advertisement” feel. It’s also usually best to go with the standard blue hyperlink color for the actual links.

#6 Get submitted to major search engines fast and free

I use this place all the time. They submit your site to 40 search engines instantly, for free http://www.submitexpress.com/.

You’re ready! You can do this – Good luck!

The Four Big Adsense Secrets

June 18th, 2009 at 03:33pm Under adsense secrets

Is there a BIG secret to the huge Adsense checks? Yes, you’ve seen those screen shots of 5-figure Adsense earning … so have I. And that made you thinking, why are some people earning those huge income, and you are not.
Whatever people may say, I only see these are the only factors that make the difference between your earning and those ‘big-guns’.
1 – Adsense Placement
Yes, putting your Adsense in a special way can be the difference between 1% click-through rate (CTR) and 10% CTR. There have been some strategies outlined where you have to make your Adsense like content. You do that by removing the borders and using the same font color that you are using for your website.
Choosing the bigger Adsense format has always been recommended. It is said that the big square, wide skyscraper are the top performer. Me … yes, I am experiencing good things with these ad formats.
Some may say differently, but I am doing well with the Ad Links too. It’s those text link ads, which requires two-step clicks. I place them like a navigation link on my website, and I am doing quite OK with them.
2 – High Paying Keywords
Here’s another known secret. Go for high paying keywords. If your website is about a topic where advertisers are paying high money for them, then you may get more money with Adsense.
This is common sense. When people are paying $5.00 per click on Adwords, you may get a lot of money on your Adsense. And if the ads that are showing on your website are ads that people are paying $1.00 per click, you may get lesser than a dollar per click.
Known topics where advertisers are paying top dollars are like DUI lawyers, credit card applications, web hosting … you know the rest. And you can even go to Overture Bid Tools to guess what people are paying for certain keywords. If you come across a topic that you think might do well, you can give a try there.
http://uv.bidtool.overture.com/d/search/tools/bidtool/
But the problem with this, high paying keywords are normally very competitive when you are trying to drive traffic with search engine optimization (SEO). So some would just go for low hanging fruits.
3 – Get More Traffic
Yep … no secret here. The more traffic you get, the more clicks you are likely to get. And more clicks means more money. But then again, you should think about the type of websites that pull traffic.
I believe many of top earners are actually operating a community-based websites. These are like forums, photo blog service providers, blogs that has grown its readerships and maybe even dating profiles. Another way of doing this is where you build your website around user created content. You allow users to create the content, like put in comments and reviews.
These are the sites that where people keep coming back for more. The good thing is you don’t have to crack your head for content. If you think you can build one like those, then go for it.
On the contrary, many are actually growing sites in smaller niches. And they go for SEO for traffic. I have to say that this is the most popular when it comes to Adsense.
You and I know there are the good ways and the bad ways to SEO – yes, the white hats and the black hats. Whatever you do, that is your choice. Some people are doing the black hats, but to them, as long as they are in compliance with the Adsense TOS, they have nothing to worry about.
To me, you do what you want and take responsibilities for the outcome. If you are doing black hat SEO, and you are making boatloads of money – then good for you.
And after that, there’re the non-SEO methods. I know of some people who are doing the arbitrage method. They go for high paying keywords, and then advertise their sites for lower prices. And they make profit from the difference. It may sounds strange at first, but some actually made it work.
Other non-SEO methods are like posting at forums, writing articles and doing press releases on their websites.
I have also heard about a strategy where you create an e-course with email, and then send your subscribers to a web pages that contains the lessons and of course, Adsense. This way, you can capture one guy, and probably make money from him/her over and over again.
4 – It’s a Numbers Game
All in all … Adsense is a numbers game. If you find something that is working for you, to make more income is just to do it again and again. For the black hat SEOers, they just build more and more websites.
Unless you successfully build and grow a community-based website, you may want to build more sites. If you build one site that is making $100 a month, then 10 sites would give you $1000. But then again, I would say, you are bound to have sites that will just flop. So out of 10, maybe 3 is doing great, 4 is just so-so, and another 3 just flopped.
If a so-so site makes $30 a month, and a great site is doing $300 a month, with just 10 sites, you might be making $1020 a month.
Just like I said … it’s a numbers game.

Making Money With High Paying Adsense Keywords

June 17th, 2009 at 03:32pm Under adsense keywords

Google was ingenious when they came up with Adsense. Not only do they get an opportunity to make additional money from their search engines, but they also allow Internet marketers a chance to make money in an easier manner. Why is this so? Well, with traditional affiliate marketing, you must make a sale before you receive commission. But with Adsense, all you have to do is create content that will produce ads that readers will click on. And in return for just a click, you will receive a few cents or in many cases, SEVERAL dollars.
This is where high paying Adsense keywords come in. So how can you find these high paying words? There are two approaches. The easiest one involves looking up pre-made lists. The other one involves you doing the research through Google’s Adwords tool. Simply enter in the term you’re interested in, and the tool will tell you how much each click is worth.
In terms of actual value, there are high paying keywords that are worth more than $20. There are even a few that are in the range of $40 to $69. In both cases, these keywords tend to revolve around lawyers, debt, credit cards, schooling and illness. And, contrary to what some may think, often times the most expensive Adsense keywords revolve around long-tail terms over more generalized phrases.
Either way, if you decide to promote these keywords, you could become independently wealthy relatively quickly. However, you do need to be aware of some things before going after these ultra-profitable of keywords.
First off, you must remember that Google will take its cut from each keyword. And you will not know how much they will take until the stats start coming in. So, don’t assume that 1,000 clicks from a $45 keyword will equal $45,000. Your cut will end up being much less than that. But it will still be much more generous than if you promoted a keyword that was only worth .05.
In addition, be aware that the higher paying keywords tend to not drive much traffic because there is so much competition surrounding them. So, unless you can beat the competition with a Fortune 500 business, you’ll have to be more creative with how you promote these keywords.
For example, consider the keyword “mesothelioma treatment options” which is currently worth $32.09. There are a ton of websites ranked for this keyword, so you can forget about search engine traffic for this term. What you will have to do is drive traffic through other terms with Internet articles. And, you will have to think outside of the box to do this.
For instance, instead of promoting “mesothelioma treatment options” you could promote
mesothelioma message boards, books or treatment centers. You could talk about mesothelioma and family support. Ultimately, if you put your heart and mind into it, there’s no limit to what you will come up with.
In conclusion, high paying keywords could be your ticket towards financial independence. Yet, remember, even the gurus don’t earn money overnight. You will still need to put in a lot of work through proper SEO and keyword optimization. Once you do that, the profits will surely start to come in.
