I have a few questions here (If you can help with any i would be grateful, links to info im happy with) …
1. How much did it cost for the creators of youtube to make the site, and how much did it then sell for and to who?
2. After things like taxs etc. how much did the creators of youtube have in theri hands.
3. Do/Have any other video sites ever made quite a bit of money?
4. How much money roughly do you think youtube and/or other sites make in adverts?
5. When someone buys a site like youtube what are they looking for? Is it user amounts, videos,???
6. In response to question 5 how much of a certain field would you need to bring in X amount?
7. What are the creators of youtube doing now?
8. What do you feel will be the future of youtube. And other video sites will they grow?
9. What is the best way to get people to advertise on sites like youtube? Adsense? or chasing up people.
Thanks for answering any of the questions above. I really appreciate it.

I recently posted my question Which Ad service would approve my website? and all I got were 4 spam responses, this is ridiculous.
I’m trying to find an Adsense alternative for my website I just started 2 weeks ago. I’m still adding stuff to it and I’m gonna change the template but its live right now. Adsense won’t work due to their guidelines. Unfortunately I can’t post the link to my site here on Yahoo Answers cuz they’ll get the wrong idea and suspend me. Instead I’ll do this: Just simply go to Google and type in License to Get Paid, that’s the name of the site, it’s the first to pop up in Google.
If you can go and take a look at the site and tell me any ad service that would approve of my site, I’d really appreciate it. I currently have Linkbucks on there but they’re like $1 for 2000 impressions so thats why I’m still looking around. My site is a library for Money Making sites, displaying statistics, advice, and reviews.

alright so I am working at home on my computer, making money online via ebay, and other things like google adsense, etc.
what kind of stuff can i write off of my taxable income? since i am basicly working on my PC the whole time 24/7, is it okay if i go to Best Buy and purchase a boatload of PC equipment and write it all off???
i could use a new PC and new printer, monitor and maybe even a couple new laptops, one for the home office and one for the road… for my business of coarse.

I Need a blog that is
A. a blog that pays you to blog in any sense (ie. writingup/blogcharm .com)
B. a site that pays you to blog by allowing you to place ads onto those blogs (ie. adbrite, adsense)
C. anyother way that will get me money to blog.

Recently I have had the default selections for my worldwide adwords campaign (English only). I mean that I am targeting every country offered with Google.. I owe around $1,000-1,500 a day and receive a lot of clicks from my content network. However, I am fearful that most of my business comes from the actual search network with Google’s engine and due to either the relevency of content and where it is displayed or the fact that people probably aren’t looking directly for my service where they may find it (on random adsense pages) that I am wasting money/clicks with leaving the content network enabled.
Cliff note question:
Is google adwords content network good enough for a click all the way through a sale consistently enough for me to continue using it or should I just stick to the search network? All answers appreciated

Is it better to submit your website to search engines before or after you’ve had some traffic? Also, will ad programs like AdSense give you sponsored links if you’ve just launched your website and have had few visitors? Any advice is much appreciated as the only money I will make will be from ads. (But the site has a lot of content)

I recently developed my own website to post some of my own articles and graphics in the hopes of earning some money through adsense, etc.
My question is: I’d like to also post some on-line news and magazine articles. I’d assume that posting an entire article without permission (even if properly referenced) is a no-no. But how about if I:
1. Just use a few sentences (1-3) from the article as a short description with a link to the article’s source (original website).
2. Create my own short description (again, 1-3 sentences) to describe the article with a link to the article’s source (original website).
Please let me know if either/neither #1 or 2 are legal.
Thanks

This may be a dumb question, but is it legal to have a website which basically only has links to other websites if I make money off it with Google AdSense?
Here’s the situation: I have a website www.businessjingles.com and I want to make it a hub for other jingle websites with MY rating of how good the jingles they produce are. I’ll rate on cost, quality, promptness, etc. and then add a link to their site. Is it legal?
