Under adsense money
I am going to try to build a website about something I know, and put ads on it to make a little money. I need to know of a good free program to build a website, that would let me divide my site into sections, so I can place a menu on one side, and have text in the middle, while adding ads from places like adsense.

I own a vintage website http://www.quirkyfinds.com. I currently use Google Adsense, but the ads that are placed on the site are competitors. Are there other affiliate programs that will pay me real money without placing competing adds on the site? A list of trusted affiliate programs would be wonderful.

Google has an advertising program called AdSense and if you let them run ads on your website, as well as Google Search boxes, you earn small amounts of money, depending on how popular your site is, or how many clicks or “buys” from clicks originated on your site occur after a month or so. I wonder if Yahoo! has the same program. I have my websites hosted through Yahoo, and I even have used the Yahoo Sitebuilder software to design some of them, so I would rather use Yahoo publisher’s advertising solutions. I tried looking around in Yahoo, but couldn’t find any information regarding this. I just wonder if such program exists. I would go with Yahoo instead of with Google, but if Yahoo doesn’t have one, hey, I go with Google. Thanks for the response. <>

Google adsense only cheats the webmasters. They never pay for advertising on your website.
Google is nothing but a very huge collection of garbage and dustbin material, with a very very small percent of genuinely usefull stuff.Google links to anything and everything on net and makes money by dumping the waste for free.
Google adsense simply uses the webmasters for free. They cheat and never pay anything to a number of webmasters. After using their websites for advertising for a few years, google simply closes their account on some or other grounds and doesn’t pays anything to the webmasters.
Shoudn’t there be more transparency and awareness on all these malpractices done by these web giants?

Under adsense account
Hi, I run a website about principles of financial accounting. The site is free and provides accounting lectures, assignments exercises and solutions. The site has about 180 pages in total.
Currently I use google adsense to display ads and generate some revenues to cover costs.
What can be a good alternative for google adsense in terms of payout and total revenue earned? What may be a good affiliate program to engage in?
Aside from above considerations, I would like to ensure my visitors do not get too distracted with lots of ads as most of them come to my site to learn accounting.
Thank you

They recently disabled my account unfairly, so I guess I’m done with them… Are there better paying programs out there?
