What Will Qualify As A Write Off When Paying Taxes?

February 10th, 2010 at 11:25pm Under adsense money

Early this year i begun running internet websites. The websites earn revenue through advertising companies such as Google adsense. I will have to pay taxes on these earnings which is fine. The only problem i have run into is that I am taking 80-90% of these earnings and putting them back into the business, by purchasing content for my websites, and spending money to advertise my sites and induce further growth.
My question is, will i be able to write off these expenses when doing my taxes, and only pay taxes on that 10-20% that i do walk away with?

Paying On The Internet?

October 8th, 2009 at 05:31am Under adsense account

I just received my web card that I wanted. But there’s a small problem, the banker told me that I can use it to buy and sell stuff on the web but I can’t take my money in cash if I want to stop using it! The problem is that I want to start a website and if I get some money in the card I want to take it rather than let it in the card forever! In Lebanon, the paypal service isn’t available but I will try to change the name of my country to France for example and try to register on paypal. If it worked and If I would be able to transfer my money from my card to paypal, would I be able to take my money in cash from paypal whenever I want?
If it doesn’t work how to get my money back in cash if I wanted to?
And the final question, how do you (bloggers and website builders) take your money in cash from your blogs and websites?Does adsense send you a check?(This question is asked to the people who does not have a paypal account)

When Do I Need To Start Paying Taxes?

July 19th, 2009 at 09:08pm Under adsense start

I have a Google Adsense account and so far.. I’ve gotten one check from them ($100) over the past year. I was wondering if I had to pay any tax for that? Now that I have a lot of free time, I’m thinking about getting back into the online money thing. How much would I have to make in order to pay taxes?
Thanks for the help!

Why Is Adsense Paying So Poorly?

June 28th, 2009 at 05:26pm Under adsense codes

Is there any way I can edit my codes for more relevant adds or something? I am averaging 2-5 cents a click. Had 14 clicks the other day for a grand total of .89 cents. Its really bad considering I know some people make .50-$1.00 a click.
