When the dotcom balloon burst everybody thought that was the end of an era. Many saw the internet as a cash cow and when many sites collapsed, this notion popped. Internet investors went scurrying away hoping to save what was left of what they have invested.
But the internet is not one to be counted out. One great idea alone can turn into huge profits. And even if it’s not as what it was before, many people can still count on earning some extra money from the internet. All it takes is one good idea and a bit of diligence.
Google’s Adsense is such an idea. This is a great ad program that allows many webmasters and site owners to profit from their sites as an advertising partner of Google. Adsense allows sites to have access to Google’s advertisers and direct the certain market or product based on keywords and content to a site that has the same market or niche.
When a visitor of the site clicks on an adsense ad, the webmaster or adsense site owner gets a percentage of what the advertisers pay per each visitor from the linked site. This is what we call pay-per-click advertising. Many sites have caught on and have seen the growth and potential of Adsense, so many in fact that Google has rejected some of those who have tried to apply.
Having your own site doesn’t guarantee a sure spot in having Adsense in your site, or for that matter making it successful. You have to find a niche that can get you the traffic that can guarantee you a market. Finding a niche is not that easy, there are many competitions in the internet market, but to succeed in such endeavor, there are certain steps to go through to at least give you a fighting chance. Follow these easy steps on how to find a profitable niche for an Adsense site.
Decide which niche you can do based about your passions and interests.
If your niche Adsense site is based upon what interests you and is something your are all too willing to undergo, everything would seem easier since you would be enjoying working on your Adsense site as well. Hours would just seem minutes and before you know it, you have your Adsense site.
Spend a few minutes or a couple of hours deciding on the niches you like. List them in order of their priorities to you based on your passion for them. If you can’t think of one there are many sites that can generate many niche website ideas that can help you. They are based on what is popular and rapidly growing in the internet based on their keyword searches in search engines.
Find out about all the other people who may share your passion for the niche you have chosen.
It is important that you find a niche market online that can act as your customers or clients in the future. If you plan on making money for your Adsense site (of course you do!) then you have to make sure that you find people who share your interest on the niche you have chosen.
This is one of the easiest procedures or steps you have to do before making your niche for your Adsense site, research. All you have to do is go to Google and type in the keyword of the niche you have selected and off you go.
Go to sites that have forums that are based upon your niche. Read and join in their discussions, learning more about your target market along the way. These people will become your market in the future. Find out about what they want and need so that you can get many ideas that can help make your site better.
Make sure that the niche you have chosen has a market that is willing to spend money.
Make sure of this point so that you are ensured that your site can make profits. This will also be relatively easy to find out. Check out all the pages that feature the niche you have chosen and see if there are many ads there. You may also check out the search results page of Google after searching the keyword if there are many sides on the ads side. If there are, then you can be pretty sure there is a market out there willing to spend some money.
Get your site running.
Armed with your research on what your niche market wants, get a product that can be sold to your market. Find sub niches that can also provide other needs. These sub niches should fall into the main niche category. Find good keywords for your site so that you can generate traffic. With good traffic you can see the people just rushing in toy our site and clicking on the Adsense on your page. The more traffic and the more clicks could spell more income for you.

With the huge success Google’s Adsense has been reaping, there are now only a handful of sites you’ll see that doesn’t feature Adsense on their sites. Everyone is hoping that they could make huge earnings from this pay-per-click affiliate program scheme Google has launched.
While there are many success stories (they are true) of sites that have generated good income from Adsense, there are still some sites that couldn’t grasp the real way of making an earning from Adsense.
This is because many people have failed to generate the needed factors to create a successful site that compliments the features Adsense provides. Many webmasters just put up or create mediocre sites and place Adsense on their site and just sits back and waits for the cash to roll in.
If that is the mentality of a site owner, then he won’t earn from Adsense. Remember, a mediocre site will also get mediocre earnings.
To finally realize the Adsense dream, a webmaster must produce a site that has the factors and characteristics needed to generate the traffic and clicks it needs to be profitable. There are many things a webmaster needs to do to achieve this and be one of the millions of sites who have successfully done so. But there are so much more things a site owner has failed to do to make their site more Adsense friendly.
Here are five reasons why many Adsense sites don’t make money.
1) There are no good keywords on the site.
Many sites have failed to do the very essence of search engine optimization, Good Keywords. The internet has many websites competing for the attention of the “netizens” and many sites contain the same or almost the same subjects, topics or niches. To date, Google is searching at over three billion sites; good keywords can get you a good lead above all the other sites.
It is essential that you research well on finding the good keywords your site can use to generate the traffic and get a high ranking on the search engines results. If many internet users are directed to your site, you get a huge opportunity to get great traffic. With traffic comes the profit.
In making money you must spend some. Invest in a good program that searches good and proper keywords for your site. These keywords that people are looking for changes and varies, a good keyword searcher is an investment that just keeps on giving.
2) The site doesn’t provide a good niche.
To get the attention of the people, you must provide a site that can perk up the interest of the people. Adsense works well if you maintain a good number of traffic, you have to keep the people’s interest on your site and have a group of people to keep coming back to your site and have them recommend it.
You must also find a niche wherein these groups of people are interested in. Find the right niche and you’ll find the right group of people that are willing to spend some money.
3) The site owner doesn’t maintain or update their site.
You can only maintain the interest of a person for a short period of time. Many websites have failed to keep up the traffic they generate for their failure to keep their site updated. Immerse yourself in your niche and try to find out what’s new and what’s hot.
You have to serve something new to the people or if not, try to keep abreast with the developments of your niche or maybe add some sub-niches on your site that still pertains to your niche to get new traffic and keep the attention of your clients in your site.
4) Some website owners don’t provide the full attention to their Adsense sites.
Many people just see their sites as a way to earn some extra money. You have to treat Adsense sites as a full size business to make it big. With the heavy competition you have, a good webmaster should treat their site as if it is their main source of income but still maintain a good schedule of their time.
5) Many webmasters have failed to devout time and research to their Adsense site.
Many elements are needed to build a successful Adsense site. Good keywords and the right niches can roll in the dough, but this takes time and effort. It is imperative to devout a certain amount of time in looking for ways to develop your Adsense site.
The internet is abound of sites that could help your own site. A little time, money and hard work can spell the huge difference between a successful Adsense site and a mediocre one.

With the vast popularity and the wide usage of Google’s Adsense in the internet community, many tools and programs have come up to help or assist Adsense sites make more profits. Adsense sites make profit by the pay per click scheme that is employed. Every ad that gets clicked coming from a certain Adsense site provides revenue for the site owner.
The traffic flow into the Adsense site dictates the number of clicks a certain Adsense site may incur. Also, the number of visitors your site gets determines your Adsense income.
One major factor that makes a website get good traffic flow is its content. No matter how beautifully developed a site is, if it doesn’t have good content it wont have a good number of traffic coming in. Your site must arouse the interests of the people who visit it and will encourage them to come back for more. And to achieve that, you must have good content.
Good content coupled with the right keywords and you will see earnings from your adsense site grow everyday. Make your site the money making Adsense site it should be. Here are ten reasons keyword research is so important to Adsense sites.
1) Get high in search engine results. With the right keywords, you can lord it over all the other millions of similar themed sites as your site and be very accessible to the millions of searchers. Many people only go to the sites that are on the first page of the result page of the search engine. If you make it to the top ten, or better yet the top spot, you get a great chance of attracting visitors to your site.
2) Having the right keywords will attract the right niche. Having a niche will attract a certain market making sure that you can get a sure group of people that is looking for your niche and has the same passion as you.
3) Niche keywords will lead your target market straight to your site and to the advertisers’ sites spelling profit. If you research on what the good keyword is for your niche, you will find out what people in that certain market are looking for. As time and interests change, so does the content of your site.
4) Researching for good keywords will spell more sales for your sites as you can produce a product that can cater to that keyword. Knowing what people wants and demands is a marketing tool and sales tool that will always help boost your earnings.
5) Keyword research keeps you and your site updated and well informed a characteristic every internet entrepreneur should always have. Information is a great weapon in the ever so competitive ecommerce market.
6) Another reason keyword research is so important for the Adsense site is that it makes people more aware that your site exists and is available. With millions of sites on the net, a person doesn’t have the time to search them one by one, with good keywords; they can easily discard and choose the site they need to go to.
7) Researching for keywords makes the content of your Adsense site more interesting to your projected market and this will help in the rise of the popularity of your site, also;
If you have updated keywords in your content, many visitors would repeatedly come to your site. Even recommend them to their friends and fellow enthusiasts of the niche you choose increasing traffic flow and potential clients.
9) Researching for good keywords offers the opportunity to be linked to other sites with good traffic. Links can be easily exchanged when the other sites know that you have good traffic as well as good keywords.
10) Many more advertisers would want to be included in your Adsense making more revenues and increasing your monthly take as more people would have more choices in the ads to click. With that, people need not go to other sites. They would just stay in your site and do their search there. More clicks mean more money and profit.

Under adsense keywords
Google adsense has been a magnificent way for webmasters to increase their revenue because they can turn their traffic into money. The more traffic you have, the more potential you have for earning money. Many sites on the Internet, including mine, give out information on the top paying adsense keywords. These are the keywords that have been bid on the most on Google Adwords or Miva etc. It must be said though that the figure advertisers are bidding for these keywords is nowhere near what you will receive as a webmaster. For example, let’s take the keyphrase “Car Insurance”. Advertisers are bidding between $42.53 – $53.95 for this keyphrase. Before you work out roughly how much you could earn, you need to do the following: 1. Make sure that your website contains lots of content surrounding your chosen keyword. Do not put in the keyphrase hundreds of times; just make sure that you have evenly ’sprinkled’ your phrase in your content. It needs to read well, and it needs to be informative to your visitors. 2. Make sure that your keyphrase is in your main heading 3. Make sure, if you can, that your keyphrase is your subheading. For numbers 2 & 3, you can add other words to your heading and subheading, but just make sure that your phrase is within it. 4. Make sure that if you have any images relating to your keyphrase, that the ‘alt text’ contains that phrase. Right, now that you have ensured the above, you have increased the chances of earning top money when Google Adsense ads are placed and clicked on your website. The general rule for working out how much you could expect to earn is to take the average Google Adwords CPC (i.e. – how much they are bidding for your keyphrase of interest), divide it by 2, and then divide that figure by 10. The amount you get left with is a conservative figure for what you could expect to earn. For example; the average CPC for car insurance is approximately $48.24. $48.24 / 2 = $24.12 $24.12 / 10 = $2.41 As I just mentioned, this is an extremely conservative figure, but it is a lot more realistic that you will earn $2.41 when you start advertising for this keyphrase to begin with. It is very likely, as I will explain below, that this figure will increase if your site receives lots of traffic, has a high page ranking, and is therefore reputable to Google. You must remember that Google knows if your website has just appeared up overnight, and there is no way that the top bidders’ adverts for your chosen keyphrase will be put up on your site. That makes sense though, because if you were an advertiser bidding $50 say for car insurance, you wouldn’t want your highly priced ad to appear on an overnight site, you would much prefer that it appeared on a very popular and reputable site. Therefore, what you need to bear in mind is that as your site increases in popularity and page ranking, you will gradually get higher priced ads appearing on your site, which means that you will increase your earnings potential. Many of these websites offering the top paying adsense keywords fail to mention these points, and many webmasters often become confused when they are only earning a few dollars per click instead of $50, which they were led to believe.

Under adsense start
Here is a question from Tony, one of our readers:
“Do you think Adsense-niche websites really work? In other words, do they bring in money when monetized with clickbank and other methods for monetization as compared to other ways of Internet marketing?”
First off all, yes, Google Adsense can make you quite a bit of change. In fact, it is how I started out in Internet marketing.
I created a website in a small niche market, updated it regularly, and placed Google Adsense ads on it.
I started making a whopping $7 per day!
However, after applying the techniques I learned in an e-book my earnings changed overnight to $30 per day, and eventually hit $100 per day (that’s around $3000 per month).
Considering I was in school full-time and working part-time (making about $20,000 per year), this was quite the profit to be making on a hobby!
Over the following few months I noticed my Adsense revenue going both up and down, and I started to make note as to why. I will share some of those observations here.
Before I get to that point, I want to talk a bit about the trend over the past couple of years to make “junk” Adsense websites (i.e. websites built only to get users to click on Adsense ads, and not really offering anything valuable).
I don’t believe in them. They may work for a short while, but in the long run these sites will lose everything.
And if you tick off Google, they’ll close your account with no warning and never open it again, thus killing your chances of revenue from this multi-billion dollar industry.
Instead, your goal should be to build quality websites that people actually want to come back to over and over again. This will ensure a steady flow of revenues, both from Adsense and from other affiliate programs that you use on your website.
Alright, let’s get to those observations now:
1. Great content = great Adsense revenue
Like I said before, junk websites will not give you the long term income that you are looking for. If you want return visitors (which equal to repeated clicks on ads), then you need to provide something valuable.
This should be in the form of great free content.
2. Regularly updated content = great Adsense revenue
Another important point is that your site needs to be constantly growing. This both attracts the search engines and your visitors.
Some people think that they can grab 1,000 PLR articles, load them on to their Adsense website, and then walk away.
However, search engines (and people) like sites that have useful content, but that also gets updated regularly, giving them a reason to come back over and over again.
3. Well placed ads = great Adsense revenue
This was my biggest mistake when I first started.
There are dozens of tips for placing ads that I won’t get into here right now. I will give you one tip that is probably the most important – don’t use borders! You should make the ad border color the same as the background color.
The main reason for this is that you don’t want your ad to look like an ad. You want it to blend in with your site. This way people will still look at it, and click on links if they are interested.
4. Including an opt-in box = great Adsense revenues
My last tip for this article is to include an opt-in box on every page of your niche Adsense website. This way you can capture as many return visitors as possible.
Whenever you post new content on your website, you can email your growing list about that content and instantly gain more visitors to your website for the next couple of days.
This is the perfect way to “recycle” traffic and earn even more Adsense revenue.
Have fun building your Adsense websites!

So what would you choose high click through or low conversion? Personally, I would choose a high click through rate—-that is if I had owned over 100 websites. It gets better—-what if these content rich websites I owned attracted highly targeted traffic and I had 80% of the pages with AdSense on them.
Ok you get the idea, if this was you, how would your adsense account compare if you consider that you would attract internet users looking for products listed in 100 or so websites (you own) every second—24 hours a day! Let me tell you what you would have—-A Google AdSense Empire!
As any experienced internet marketer or webmaster would tell you, Google Adsense is probably the easiest way for website owners to make money on the internet. And you may have heard that “niche marketing” is proving to be fundamental as far as the future of online marketing.
The beauty of AdSense is that it has the potential to earn you good pay provided you have good content on your website that easily relates to ‘google ads’. It’s surprising to find websites that do not relate well with what is on adsense. It is a proven fact that when ad/links for product strongly connect to the content/context around the website, more people are more likely to click on the ads (I suppose to get more information on what is already on your site—and in the process you earn).
A clever way has been developed for you to totally explode your AdSense account by owning with 150 Content Rich AdSense Web Sites selling niche products that attract highly targeted traffic. What is found mostly amazingly disappointing is that not many people are aware of AdSenseReady concept.
I see eager marketer’s still creating costly websites and then trying to find affiliate products to sell through their websites and still hope to optimize their sites for search engines to find them. This is not say, it’s a bad thing in itself, but for me and what I know, it may seem like reinventing the wheel.
But wouldn’t it be easier to own 150 Content Rich AdSense Web Sites selling niche products that attract highly targeted traffic? This is without having to ask oneself, tough yet very important questions when looking to set up a merchant website.
What is my websites’ topic?
What do people come to my website looking for?
What is the intent of my readers when they are on my website?
What types of products would my readers naturally be interested in buying?
With AdSenseReady you find tags on every page (for search engine optimization), strategic positing of ads to maximize on CTR (your adsense account thanks you afterwards). Plus you can manipulate your website to give it your personal touch. These are just basic resources that I thought mention but you definitely need to check out this fabulous way of earning at:
