i have opened a google account for google adsense ads.
in the web tool i have seen that my web page verification status not verified,
google tool bar says it- Once you verify that you’re the site owner, we can provide you with comprehensive statistics and error information about the pages in your site. If you’re unable to verify, you can still use the webmaster tools, submit Sitemaps, and see detailed information about those Sitemaps as well as basic information about your site.
We offer two methods of verification. You can either upload an HTML file with a name we specify, or you can add a meta tag to your site’s index file. Choose your preferred method below
please can anybody tell me in detail- what is HTML & meta tag
i will be very thankful to you thanks.

I have just opened up a blogger.com and google adsense account and I have been trying to use that meta tag that google gave me to use to get my site on their search engine and it failed so I tried doing creating an HTML file and that failed. I don’t think I’m doing something right and done it over and over again and no luck those of you who know this can you please help and give an example on where exactly the meta tag go or how I can make and upload an HTML file on my blog. Thanks.

ive just started my first website using a site called weebly.com
i wanted to use googles adsense but i need to either upload an metatag betweeb metetag or create an html which is something like google8989gg!!.. and upload it to the site.i dont know much about computers at all,could someone please tell me hows this is done(be gentle).if it helps this is the site in working on.http://rickygervais.weebly.com/

I’m 17 years old. I know HTML, CSS, PHP. I have about 1 year experience in that programming languages. How can I make money online with that programming languages ? I’ve tried freelancing, but I can’t get any projects… any other ways ? I have already registered a Google Adsense account, but I am not satisfied with my earnings.

I need a step by step answer. i just started adsense. and for a whole day I earned nothing, I think that’s normal but if I’ve done something wrong maybe I won’t have any good clicks for a month or two.
one more, I’m using blogger.com so,,,, is that good or bad for adsense?
and what should I do when I am in my account?

Okay so i have a table with 3 columns; Left center and right. The center area is for content, the area on the right is for my google adsense and i want the area on the left to be an external website like yahoo.com. I cannot find the code for this but i think it should work? Help!??!1

I am attempting to add google adsense to my website but, after cutting and pasting the code it appears as html after publishing, Why?? I followed the instructions from the advertiser to the letter. I am using a pre-formatted web template from godaddy. Could it be because it is a wysiwyg template? I contacted their ts and they could not troubleshoot the issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
