Under adsense money
There are many adsense tips floating around the internet. Lots of people say to make your ads blend in. However, some people are having a lot of success by making their links stand out. The most effective style seems to be having your links blue, while your other links are a less-noticeable color.
Listed below are Top 7 Adsense Tricks To Explode Your Profits
* Place images directly above your ads. This simple technique has been known to increase CTR by 400%. To keep the images fresh some people randomize related images on their site using PHP code.
* Take advantage of the “alternate URL” feature to avoid Public Service Ads that seep money away from your website.
* Place ads where your visitors will likely be focused.
* One of the best things you can do is add additional pages to your site. A web site with thousands of pages and tons of content often does very well in the search engines. You can get free content from article directories.
* Weave your articles into your content.
* Place link units in the top left-hand corner. This part of the website has shown to be clicked on more than any other part of the page.
* Google has cited the 336×280 large rectangle as the most effective ad size.
Succeeding with adsense is largely determined by the amount of traffic to your site. However, there are many adsense tricks that you can employ to get the most possible out of your site. Often times, this means doubling, tripling, or even quadrupling your earnings. The key is to find out what works for your web site. Testing and tracking is the key to increased revenue!

It goes without saying that we all need more traffic to our websites. This can be achieved in numerous ways. I’d like to explore once specific traffic source a little deeper.
Although it maybe prudent to mention a few to start with, some will be obvious and some will be not so obvious. Natural search engine rankings, advertising, articles, blogs, newsletters, rss feeds, videos, joint ventures, press releases, social bookmarking, social networking and the most important ingredient that should run through the whole of these is quality.
One of the areas, blogs, has always been a grey area for me personally, until I discovered a few important facts. Perhaps I knew them, but when put into a certain context they meant more.
Allow me to explain further…
We all have been told that within our strategy we must link a blog to our website; in fact as many blogs as we can muster the energy to do. So yes I’m sure we’ve all gone out and made ten blogs. As a consequence of such effort we have seen very little traffic. So as a natural result we’ve returned our attention back to our websites, made them bigger and better and sat back and waited, checking our adsense revenue a few times a day.
Despondency sets in and we can’t see the wood for the trees. So what’s going on?
First we must remember that blogs get regarded has having more value than a ‘normal’ website. We know this to be true as we see them ranked above most websites. Yet our own blogs on typical blogging sites never seem to get anywhere in the rankings. There is an important distinction here to. A blog on a ‘blogging site’ will also rank higher than a blog on a normal – mywebsite.com website
Should you wish to test this theory out, put the same content on your website with a Page Rank of 4 and then put the same content on a blog with a zero page rank. The result sadly is that the blog could well rank above your own website.
That said… It would appear we are working ‘upside down’ on our efforts. If we put 2 hours of work on our blog, rather than our website per day, we may get the blog to a page rank of 5 quicker? In doing that, we achieve backlinks to our own site from a better page ranked site. Plus if we have adsense on the blog we are killing two birds with one stone.
I am only half way through fully testing this theory and it may require a further six months, but all the evidence suggests that this will work. If we have a website that sits nicely in a niche, then to have a blog or two back-linking, will only increase our websites inner page ranks and they will appear higher in the search engines.
As we add content to our website, tweak a little and add it to our blogs. The end result will be a page rank of 4 for our website and a page rank of 5 or 6 for our blog. When this happens, funnel the links back to your own site and it should nudge the page rank up one notch. The blog of course should be ’subject’ relevant to your own site.
Food for thought!

If you’ve watched the progress of Google Adsense over the past few years you will know its potential has decreased and subsequently the revenue decrease too. So why would that be?
Google have tweaked their algorithm, and as such it has reduced the remarkable payouts we may have seen and read about. Rather than try to identify the exact reasons, it is widely accepted that people who abused the system caused Google to adjust their methods to quash such abuse.
We may have seen MFA’s, websites specifically ‘Made for Google Adsense’. As such these sites DID make big money, but offered little or no content. Such attempts to ‘work’ the system would only have a short life span until the BIG G saw such a loophole and consequently shut it down. Although these sites still exist, they have been de-listed from the Google Search Engine. If you didn’t know already, type – site:www.awebsitename.com – into Google Search and it will show the pages that Google have listed in their engine.
Google has tried to steer each and every website owner towards adding quality content. Without quality content your site is only visited for seconds. It is this very aspect that Google uses to determine the quality of sites. If someone is only on your site for seconds it deems the quality as low; if they stay on for more than 30 seconds you’re beginning to get recognition.
So to earn a living from Adsense is much harder today, than it has ever been. If you are solely intent on relying on Google Adsense as your only income from the outset, it maybe a deemed as a mistake, unless you follow some sound business principles and get advice from an expert.
What a lot of individuals are doing is realizing that they have tremendous sites, and Google Adsense isn’t bringing in enough money to generate their weekly income. As a consequence they have looked at earning revenue from other sources. Affiliate income is an option for consideration.
Alternatively, rather than give up on Adsense try generating more traffic. If you get a steady flow of visitors to your site already you may want to consider one option that will serve two purposes. This option is to write a short article, nothing too in-depth that takes weeks, let’s say an article that’s heading starts – 101 Ways To… – such as 101 Ways to Treat Acne. The process make take 2 to 3 hours. Prepare this document as a ‘pdf’ file and make it downloadable from your site for free.
In doing this, collect an email address for those wanting this amazing list, and using this list to generate further income from, and within the ‘pdf’ put backlinks to your site. This method is called viral marketing. As visitors pass the file to others, or pass the download link, more people will use the links within the ‘pdf’ to get back to your site.
I hope this article gives you much needed inspiration to inject more enthusiasm into your Adsense activity.

Tip Number 1.
The lesser the ads you place, the higher the likely hood of them getting clicked. As a rule of thumb, I always never put more then 4 ads on any single page although I would be hard pressed to think of times when there were more then 2. More ads would mean a decrease in the value of the advertisements shown, so publishers should carefully watch their advertisement units, as it dilutes ad inventory and value.
Tip Number 2.
Give them a reason to click. No not by asking them to âclick here!’ or âvisit now’ under your ads. This is totally unacceptable and possibly in violation of Adsense’s TOS. What you can do is target and watch the ads displayed like a hawk. Make sure the content you publish are extremely relevant to the specific 3 or 4 keywords you are targeting in that particular content. That way, the ads would be super relevant and you would get more convinced âclickers’
Tips Number 3.
Blend in your ads subtly. Not with the purpose of tricking them but to make the ads unobtrusive, making a more pleasant viewing experience for them and higher click-through-rate for you. Integrate your Ads with your website simply by removing the borders around the ads.
Tip Number 4.
Update your content regularly. Most visitors visit your site twice. If on the second time, the content remains the same, he will not visit again. Give him something new and chances are he will regularly check back. That is my blogs and Adsense are such a perfect match as I point out in my free report.

Amongst all the tricks and secrets you may have heard from various gurus, one of the main areas for better traffic when optimizing your site for Adsense is a clear and well defined foundation of search engine optimization.
The trend at the moment is working with social networking and social bookmarking sites, putting backlinks upon them and getting traffic. The backlinks help bolster your page rank and increase the search engines sense of ‘authority’ your web pages have. It is this return visit the search engine crawlers make when following the links that are important.
If your web page isn’t sensibly optimized for the keyword phrase, the backlink isn’t going to be worth much. However if the crawler meets your web page with a sense of well organized quality, your website’s backlink is worth considerably more.
Let’s assume for one moment that you’ve put an ‘anchor text’ for “property in Kensington” upon one of your blogs on a social network. This blog’s backlink points back to a page that has a page extension called “property in London” and both the meta tag title and headings tags refer to “apartments in London”. Apart from a human visitor being confused, the search engine crawler can’t find the words “property in Kensington” and therefore stops crawling and leaves your site. Google being the biggest search engine, may not even show that backlink because of irrelevance.
One backlink to a quality website has more value than 20 backlinks to a poorly optimized site. 18 months ago the story was different, webmasters were able to trick the search engines with a 1,000 backlinks obtained with various ‘black hat’ methods, and also get ranked higher than a quality site. Crazy growth in websites and backlinks throw up a question mark to the search engines, and more recently have been getting human visits from the search engines to determine what is going on.
If you build your Adsense website correctly from the outset, you will receive dividends in the long term.
Building your Adsense website is a long term strategy and creating a good SEO foundation is imperative. I hope that the one tip above has made you consider tweaking your website for better optimization.
Adsense can be a good money earner if you approach it right, as a business, and not as a temporary flirtation with online income. My own main tip is not to do too much too soon.

For first time bloggers, a free blogging web site is a great way to get started in the blogosphere. Popular blogging web sites like blogger and eponym allow users to set up and host a blog without paying any fees at all.
This encourages people to start blogging, because the fact that one of these sites can provide you with all of the tools that you need to get your blog up and running without spending any money means that you have nothing to lose by starting a blog. The fact that it is so easy to find a way to blog for free is one of the reasons why so many people who have never had any other kind of web presence before find themselves drawn to blogging.
By signing up with a free blogging web site, you may find it easier to get listed in search engines that you would if you were starting your own blog from scratch. For example, google runs the free blog hosting site blogspot and crawls its pages very often looking for updates, so if you have your site hosted by blogspot you are almost guaranteed to be listed on google’s blog search engine.
This easy access to search engines can take some of the work out of promoting your blog, and can help you gain a following with a minimum of marketing effort. Setting up AdSense on your Blog is a breeze, and you can complete the whole process in less then an hour. Free $97 Adsense Secret Ebook on Adsense Tips here.
If your blog attracts a large readership, you may want to consider moving your site. Many people feel that being hosted by a free blogging web site gives a blog a kind of amateur flavor that is fine for a new member of the blogosphere, but is not appropriate for a high-profile blog.
Having your own domain can help you make your blog feel professional, and finding a company that will host your domain is not difficult or expensive. Once your blog takes off, you will probably be able to sell enough advertising space to be able to afford to buy a domain and pay for a hosting package, and still have money left over. However, it does not make sense in most cases to invest in these glossy luxuries before you have a sizable readership.
Starting your blog on a free blogging web site is a great way to build a following before you spend any money on your blog. If and when your blog becomes popular and you are ready to take the next step and purchase your own domain, your readers will follow you to your new home. Most people can make their AdSense Blog sites veritable cash cows! Free $97 Secret Adsense Book at http://www.honestreview.info/adsense/index.html
The fact that it is possible to use a free blog host like blogspost, blogger, or eponym as a kind of incubator for your blog is great news for bloggers everywhere.

Why Do I Have to Get Approved for the Google Adsense Program
It’s not really about you. Google has standards to which they adhere and there are certain sites that they don’t want their advertiser’s ads on. Check the Program Policies for an exhaustive list of what kind of content sites are not acceptable. For the most part, they do not allow ads to be placed on any site that has excessive profanity. This is probably the hardest one to decipher as the word “excessive” could mean one thing to a publisher and another thing altogether to the Google Adsense program. To be on the safe side, if you notice more than a couple instances of profanity on a site you are considering using for the Google Adsense program, you might want to consider another site.
Sites that contain ads for beer, liquor or tobacco products are not allowed to participate in the Google Adsense program.
Sites that promote hate or racist attitudes are not allowed to participate in the Google Adsense program.
If the site you are considering promotes gambling, drugs, even prescription drugs then it is not suitable for the Google Adsense program.
A good guideline to go by might be if a site is family oriented. That may not cover everything but it’s a starting place. Again, check the Program Policies for more information.
Why Your Should Not Pay for Your Own Blog Site
If you already have a website that showcases your wares or you’ve been thinking about getting one, that’s great. Since you’re working on building a business anyway, you can only profit more by implementing Google Adsense on your site. As long as it conforms to Google Adsense Program Policies of course. Most people feel frustrated that they cannot generate the revenues they expected! Get your Free $97 Adsense Secret Ebook on Adsense Tips today.
If, however, blogging is your interest, I say stick with the most popular blogging site you know. Or even two or three of them. Why? Traffic. Lots of it. Blogging on an already populated site versus dreaming up your own blog site is like the difference between 5:00 traffic in New York City and an old dusty country road. Not only do the owners of http://writingup.com, http://bloggerparty.com and others like it bring in the traffic, they even help you make money when you bring in more traffic.
Remember what they say in real estate: location, location, location.

How Can I Make Sure That My Account Will Not Be Disabled?
Google Adsense Program Policies make no allowances for deceptive practices. The most important thing a publisher can do to ensure the integrity of their site is to be aware of what is happening on your site.
Google has made it abundantly clear not to click on your own ads or ask others to do so. But what about practices a publisher may not purposely carry out?
Make sure that ads associated with Google never appear in an unrequested pop-up. Don’t be talked into purchasing traffic for your site that may contain adware.
Respect the Google trademarks. Don’t use any Google trademarks or logos without their consent.
Don’t change the Adsense code. If you’re a pro at html, don’t assume you can add your own code. If you’re new to html, simply copy and paste the offered code. Don’t mess with it. Most people can make their AdSense sites veritable cash cows! Free $97 Secret Adsense Book at http://www.honestreview.info/adsense/index.htm
Provide a good environment for advertisers and a positive user experience. Don’t try to be deceptive in any way. Google’s rules may sound strict, but believe me, protecting the integrity of the Google Adsense Program is in your best interest as well as Google’s. After all, a positive, honest Google Adsense program means more money for all of us.
Useful Books About the Google Adsense Program For Users of All Stages
Do you need to buy a book to use Google Adsense? Not necessarily. Google’s support page has a wealth of information. But you might consider it if you want to read a personal account of an Adsense wizard such as Eric Giguere or say, if you want to learn more about HTML. ‘Who Let the Blogs Out: A Hyperconnected Peek at the World of Weblogs by Biz Stone has a lot of information on blogging as well as information about Google Adsense. Anyone who has Google Adsense upon their website for more than a year will know that the chance of earning a living from this income stream is fading.
To be fair to our friends across the water in the United States, Adsense UK is and will always be a touch more difficult. I can compliment our friends in the US as in ‘business terms’ they tend to be one year ahead of us. So here using Adsense UK we’re generally going to be a few steps behind.
The United States are pioneers in many areas and we tend to follow. Okay we do have our shining moments, but to be honest us Brits need to be watching activities in America and tweak them for the UK market.
In the light of this I’ve gathered a few Adsense Tips, tricks and secrets to offer to my colleagues here in the UK. Here are ten to help you…
High paying adsense keywords… Look in your own adwords account or try this free Google Tool: use https in front of this extension : adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal. Note with this free tool that you can go to where it says ‘choose columns to be displayed’ and click on display all and it shows you what price adwords advertisers are paying for the top spot. It isn’t exactly appropriate for adsense, but we can assume and I guess be fairly accurate that the same keyword for adsense is the top keyword too. It won’t pay the same figure, but the ratio’s and keyword list is helpful.
The column ‘Estimated Avg. CPC’, double click once, then twice, and you’ll get the list displaying the highest to lowest paying keywords.
In fact the same goes for any of the columns. Double click the blue headings and you’ll get them in descending order.
Chasing high paying keywords. There are clicks worth up to $70 a click can be earned, but imagine for one moment how many are competing for such a term. Wait until you feel competent to set up such a challenge. See them here: cwire.org/highest-paying-search-terms/
Check that your site is listed in the major search engines. Here is what you need to do with Google – site:www.yourwebsite.com- put this into Google search.
Go here for site information at yahoo – siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ – then you’ll need to type this information in: http://www.yoursite.info etc
Go here for site information at msn – live.com/ – and type in site:www.yoursite.com.
Don’t have too many other links out of your page. If you give too many other choices you’ll find that those links are chosen over and above your adsense links. Some have chosen to have no other links from their page. Perhaps there is a middle ground. It is all about testing and tweaking.
Your must have a long term Adsense plan that may take more work than you originally expected. But steady work will increase your income. All successful businesses have a time management principle in place. One particular web page we have just created for example has taken 5 to 6 hours to build and upload, but then the real works starts. We’ll need to get it listed in the search engines and in the article directories. We may eventually spend as much as 40 hours promoting this web page alone, over perhaps a 2 month period. This amount of time would equate to one week’s wage, so it is important that we can eventually say yes we have recovered such an investment in time. Plus the other benefits of better search engine placement forever. We know it is a good long term tactic.
We hope we have helped our Adsense UK colleagues.

How to Apply to the Google Adsense Program
Applying for a Google Adsense account is quick and easy for any interested webmaster. Just point your browser to http://www.google.com/adsense and click on apply. Click on the drop down arrow under account type and select whether you’re an individual or business. If you’re not sure which one to choose, click on the question mark to the left. Next, select your country or territory.
Under website information, it asks for your primary URL. If you have your own website, list it here. If you are using a blogging site such as http://writingup.com or http://bloggingparty.com that URL goes here.
Select your website’s primary language. Google adsense supports Chinese (simplified), Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish.
Select the product you want on your pages. Adsense for Content means you will have advertising targeted to the content on your pages. For instance, if you write about flooring, you might have carpet ads on your page. Adsense for Search is for you to add a Google search box to your pages. To maximize your Google Adsense earnings, you will want to have both.
After that, it’s just the regular contact information and you’re all set. You should receive an email in 2 or 3 days letting you know if your application is approved. Is it really worth placing an AdSense banner on your site? Get your Free $97 Adsense Secret Ebook on Adsense Tips today.
Do I Have to Pay Taxes on My Google Adsense Earnings?
Google Adsense is required to collect tax information from those who participate in the program. If you’re a business, you’ll need to put your EIN number on your application. If you’re an individual, all you’ll need is your social security number. If you don’t have that information when you initially sign up, you can still apply for the Google Adsense program. But be advised that Google Adsense will withhold payments to you until they receive your tax information.
While Google does not withhold taxes or provide any tax advice, they will send you a 1099 once your earnings reach a certain amount. Of course, if you are a Non-US business and have no activity in the United States, you will not need to provide this information. For more tax information regarding the Google Adsense program, visit the Google Adsense Support site. For other tax-related questions or concerns, you can log onto http://www.irs.gov.
