Effective Tips on Adsense For Good Profit

July 6th, 2009 at 09:38am Under adsense start

This article will guide you on adsense tips like adhering to Google’s Terms of service (TOS), policies, rules and regulations of the programme. These TOS may be regarding placing of ads, quality content, webmaster rules and clicks etc.
First of all please adhere to Google’s Terms of service (TOS), policies, rules and regulations of the programme. These TOS may be regarding placing of ads, quality content, webmaster rules and clicks etc.,
Do not click on your own ads: We may come across some of them who click on their own ads to earn a quick money and getting banned from adsense. But in some cases we click our own ads by mistake which we need to avoid. In case if you want to view the landing page of the ad, you can directly check thru the Internet explorer rather than clicking on our own ads. Google keeps record of all clicks.
Do not place ads exceeding the adsense requirement. For better result place few ads per page. You can try placing in different locations. Usually, Medium rectangular type ads provides good results. It is suggested to place ads inbetween the body of web page.
Now coming to content of website which is the base of website and adsense. DO NOT place google ads on the webpages with no content. Google pays for the ads displayed on the content page. Your website should have a good quality content. Please try not to have a duplicate content which you may get from various sources.
Please follows website rules strictly. Your website should have a friendly navigation. Readers should not have any problem while navigating your webpages. It is better to have a sitemap. Do not display google ads on website which is under construction.
Now lets talk about how to earn more revenue from adsense. The first only way is “Traffic”. More traffic means more hits which means more earnings and more conversions, more money. But the questions is how to drive traffic?
There are many ways to drive traffic like search engine ranking. However, we all know search engine ranking is a time consuming. Your website shall take several weeks/months to drive a reasonable traffic.
But there is another way to drive traffic instantly, that is buying traffic. For instance I have bought traffic from Google Adwords. Signing up process for Google Adwords is easy. You can visit google adwords for signing up.
When I started using Google Adwords for driving traffic, I started getting lot of traffic but at the same time I was also paying towards Google Adwords ending up not making much profits. Then I started analyzing on costing and ad placements. I found that my CTR – Click thru rate is only about 40% to 50% which is not so good for profit. Later, started placing ad in different directions and with different sizes of ads.
I found most of big banner ads on the top of the page and medium rectangular ad inbetween the content working fine. My CTR went up around 65%. which is reasonably good. However, CTR around 70% is said to be very good for good profit. Even after 65% of CTR I was not able to make much profit. There was something wrong with my website. No, actually, there was excess investment towards adwords.
Hence, I started working on Adowrds costing vs. Adsense earnings. I found that, I was paying to Adwords equivalent to what I was getting from Adsense. This was my main key point for profit. Finally, I selected some low cost keywords from Adwords and fixed CPC lower than the adsense CPC. Now, I am getting reasonable profits.
Finally, we shall conclude with the understanding that for earning good profit from adsense it is just not enough working on ad placement and ad campaign but it is also equally important working on costs.

Yes! You Can Ethically and Legally ‘Lure’ Visitors To Click On Your Adsense Ads!

July 6th, 2009 at 03:34am Under adsense secrets

Tip Number 1.

The lesser the ads you place, the higher the likely hood of them getting clicked. As a rule of thumb, I always never put more then 4 ads on any single page although I would be hard pressed to think of times when there were more then 2. More ads would mean a decrease in the value of the advertisements shown, so publishers should carefully watch their advertisement units, as it dilutes ad inventory and value.

Tip Number 2.

Give them a reason to click. No not by asking them to ‘click here!’ or ‘visit now’ under your ads. This is totally unacceptable and possibly in violation of Adsense’s TOS. What you can do is target and watch the ads displayed like a hawk. Make sure the content you publish are extremely relevant to the specific 3 or 4 keywords you are targeting in that particular content. That way, the ads would be super relevant and you would get more convinced ‘clickers’

Tips Number 3.

Blend in your ads subtly. Not with the purpose of tricking them but to make the ads unobtrusive, making a more pleasant viewing experience for them and higher click-through-rate for you. Integrate your Ads with your website simply by removing the borders around the ads.

Tip Number 4.

Update your content regularly. Most visitors visit your site twice. If on the second time, the content remains the same, he will not visit again. Give him something new and chances are he will regularly check back. That is my blogs and Adsense are such a perfect match as I point out in my free report.

The Full Adsense Formula

July 1st, 2009 at 09:33am Under adsense secrets

Adsense is the best income generating program ever spawned! Why?

There is no product or service to promote. Only your domain. Webspace, an Adsense account, and highly targeted traffic is needed. Your success with adsense, you will soon learn, is as easy as driving s car or cooking a four course meal. The reality is Adsense Success and everything else has to be learned. When you learned how to drive a car it became simple and after a couple of months of driving everyday or so. It became second nature. Once you learn the Adsense formula and it’s variables. The sky’s the limit with Google Adsense

Learn The Adsense Craft.

You can’t cheat your way to success or for some a healthy adsense income. Just like anything other skill in life, it has to be learned. Everything that everyone knows was learned from a teacher(I.E. Anyone), a book, an article(I.E. Newspapers, Magazines, and the Internet), or by word of mouth. You have to learn the adsense formula and all the adsense variables. I have a A.A.S in Computer Programming and Engineering. So believe me I know how to give low-level instructions. No one can tell YOU how to make YOUR site a success, only guide you in the right direction.

The Adsense Variables

TT(High CTR) + Content = Adsense Earnings

Content – try to have a 1000 words of keyphrase-rich content.
High CTR – highly optimized placement of the adsense code.
TT – Highly Targeted Traffic

Yes that’s it. The “Adsense Formula” is just a basic math problem and as we all know any on can learn math. We’re not near finished. These variables the make up the Adsense Formula is the key to your success. Why refer to them as variables, because these Adsense elements constantly change and YOU are in full control of them. Imagine a indoor plant and its variables. Sunlight, Soil PH, CO2, Fertilizer, and Water. You control every variable and if each one is highly optimized then you will have a healthy fast-growing plant. If you highly optimize each adsense variable then you will in turn receive a healthy fast growing adsense income. Now that we have an understanding let’s evaluate this “Adsense Formula.”

Adsense Content

Keywords are a bad idea! High paying or not. In fact don’t choose high paying keywords, not because of the saturation of SEO experts, but because keywords are to broad. Adwords is ying and Adsense is yang. Broad keywords have low payouts and ctr. You want to target keyphrases, so your site only displays high paying adsense ads, not .15 adsense ads from some beginner with one of your terms in their adwords campaign. There is a lot of free content online, but it is best to use unique content for search engine purposes. To accomplish this hire a writer or choose niche subjects that you are familiar with, so that you can write your own articles and e-books. Don’t base your site on money rather than your passion. Example. My passion is computers and networking.

Adsense CTR

Optimal adsense ad placement is the heart of high adsense ctr. There are four locations on a webpage the receives the most clicks.

Just above the fold. The fold is the end of the section of the page you can view without scrolling.

All along side the left column.

In your content, if very interesting and informative.

At the end of your content after a reader finishes.

Adsense ad format effects ctr greatly whether or not they are placed in the right spots. Squares receive the most clicks, beginning with the largest and so on. The ads should blend with your page. Only the link title should be a different color than the text and url. No borders unless red or yellow. They attract viewer’s eyes.
The link color should match your site’s links, but blue and red work the best. Incredibly Increase your adsense ctr up to 400% by placing related images above or to the left of adsense ads.

Highly Targeted Traffic

Yes, there is a difference between targeted traffic and highly targeted traffic. Someone looking for an online business would be targeted traffic to this article, but someone looking for an adsense business would be a highly targeted visitor. Why high quality traffic? Your Ctr will be amazing and unbelievable because all of your traffic will be looking for YOUR site. Don’t be surprised if you have certain days where 97% of your visitors clicked an adsense ad. How? Blogs, Articles, E-books, Rss Feeds, and most SERP(search engine results page) traffic. Never use traffic exchanges or links from other sites unless their content is similar to yours.

In my experience TrafficSwarm is the only exchange that will get you clicks without getting your adsense account terminated.I have given you the full adsense formula in detail, but for more info please visit Adsense Secret Tips or my blog at Adsense Secret Tips Blog

7 Adsense Optimization Tips For Larger Paychecks

June 26th, 2009 at 09:34pm Under adsense secrets

Many bloggers and Webmasters have turned to Adsense in order to monetize their sites. However, as many of you are learning, making a killing with Adsense involves more than just throwing some ads up on your pages.
If you’ve been using Google’s AdSense on your Website or Blog, you’re probably wanting to generate even more traffic for your website, which in turn would translate to more AdSense clicks and a higher income. I mean, who wouldn’t want that, right?
How do you do this? You’ll never make much money with Adsense until you have a lot of traffic. I’ll let you in on an Adsense secret right now. Social traffic and tech traffic doesn’t convert well with Adsense. They are Adsense wise and rarely click on any ad, especially an Adsense ad.
Who clicks on them? Organic search traffic. Yeah, the horny teenagers and Senior Citzens. Those are your best clickers.
So here are a 7 tips for optimizing your Adsense websites.
First, you need to take care of is the actual source code and layout of your page. This has to be kept as simple as possible. The problem comes when AdSense and the search engines themselves begin to have troubles in extracting the most relevant keywords on your site because of a too complex layout. Simple templates are better!
Second, try to have each one of your pages target only one specific keyword. This way it is a lot easier for them to be indexed properly and for the AdSense ads to be consistent with the content of the site itself.
Third, try not to include too many hyperlinks in your page as well. This also means you should try not to use too many AdSense ads on your page either. I only use 1 or 2 Adsense ads per page. Using more will bring down the price per click your receive.
Fourth. If there are certain keywords you wish to target, make sure the word you wish to target is present in the title, in the first paragraphs as well as in the name of the file. While you’re at it you might want to ensure the word springs up in the page’s last paragraph. Not only is this good for Adsense optimization, but it’s good for overal website seo as well.
Fifth, it’s very important for your content to have original and compelling content. How do you do this? Well the easiest way to do it is to find something you’re really passionate about. That way, providing you give it a lot of effort you’re bound to have a great page quite fast.
Sixth, If the content you use in your site is in the public domain make sure that you at least give it an original title, and add an opening and a closing paragraph of your own.
This takes a little while, but if, after waiting, you still can’t find your page near the top, you should try rewriting your title and your first and last paragraphs. It doesn’t take much, often just changing a few words will give you the right results.
Seventh. Use good keyword tools that will help you in finding high paying keywords to include on your page that will drive visitors to your site more and more. I use Google Adword’s Keyword Tool. It will tell you how often the keyword is searched for. Also, there is a drop down menu that will tell you how much per click the advertisers are paying for a particular keyword or keyword phrase. I like to see keywords with at least a $4 or higher bid price. That way, I’ll usually end up with about a dollar. It’s been said that you’ll sometimes get around 25 percent of the bid price.
So those are about the basic techniques in search engine optimization. You can find a lot of computer tools to aid you in doing this, and of course, Google is a great place to search for this.
In the end, you’ll find that Adsense optimization is a complex topic, and entire books have been written on the topic as well. You might find that you have a lot of optimization you need to do in order to get more and more visitors to your site and clicking those precious AdSense banners.
You need to have optimized niche website templates for best results. You may find the best adsense templates and blog templates that are Adsense optimized are the simple ones with few outgoing links. Leave the templates with all the fancy bells and whistles for the beginners. They don’t covert well and they end up costing you Adsense clicks.

Is There Any “Secrets” Left To Milk From Adsense?

June 23rd, 2009 at 09:33am Under adsense money

Adsense Money Tip 1
As far as possible use high paying keywords. Take a good look at this article; I am sure there are some Adsense ads running around it. These ads pay very high for the article directory owner as I purposely choose my words to type.

So how can you use find the right high paying words in your niche? First off, stick to your topic and do not include irrelevant content. Secondly and more importantly, log into your Adwords account (if you have) or Overture’s keyword tool and look for high paying keywords in your niche. Take care not to overdo it though! A subtle incorporating of the keywords will do. Repeating and re-repeating the same keywords will turn readers and Adsense off,

Adsense Money Tip 2
Getting good traffic. Not just any traffic, by saying good traffic I mean quality traffic and targeted traffic. So throw out your ideas of using auto surf programs to boost your visitors statistics. That is not to say that you should immediately start an Adwords campaign, this way of getting targeted visitors, called “Google Arbitrage”, is very expensive and unlikely to turn in a profit.

Adsense Money Tip 3
High quality fresh information. Your content has to been of certain standard and quality before anyone even bothers to read it. It also needs to be fresh and new and constantly updated. Think about it, why would anyone bother coming back to your website if they keep seeing the same content everytime? That explains why news sites are one of the most highly trafficked sites.

Adsense Money Tip 4
Vertical beats horizontal. That is not true definitively I realize but it has generally proven true. Surfers have grown “banner-blind” and an ad that is horizontal makes them switch off. Try it out, experiment with your positions of ads and stick with the one which gets the most clicks.

Using Google’S Adwords Keyword Tool

June 20th, 2009 at 09:30am Under adsense keywords

Using the Adsense Keyword ToolIn short the Adsense Keyword Tool can be used three ways.- Based on a Keyword or a phrase- You can search a URL- You can also base your search on content.Once you enter what you are searching for the tool will come up with various words or phrases related to your search. Once you have the list compiled by the Keyword Tool you can now take a look at the competition for the specific word or phrase and also the search volume. Ideally what you would like are words with lower level of competition with a high search volume. Finding these words may take time but will pay off for you in the end.Choosing words with high competition will only put your site or blog in a list of thousands of other people doing the same thing. Getting into the top search results is really the key to making money online. When the findings from the keyword tool are generated I would suggest going to the top of the list and adding “show estimated CPC” to the list. This will show what advertisers are paying for these words or phrases. Words with higher level CPC used on your site will generate more dollars when using the Google Adsense Program. If you see some keywords in the list that really interest you and meet the need then try running them on their own in the keyword Tool. For example say I was doing a Search for “Adsense” and in the findings I see that “Adsense Software” was a good paying, low competition word. Then I would run “Adsense Software” on its own in the Keyword Input Box and see what searches are related to that individual keyword. Do this with as many words as you want.Another great feature of the Google Keyword Tool is the ability to search URL’s and what this does is gives you the ability to see the competitions keyword strategy and maybe applying some of this to your own. Basically they are doing most of the work for you!To do this just switch the radio button to “website content” and type in a URL of interest. The results layout is very nice because it groups words and phrases for you.You can also use this tool for articles you have written already. Choose website content and let the Keyword Tool explore your site by adding the site’s content in the search box. This will help you with your site optimization. The choice and position of Keywords are very important in attracting visitors to your website so please get use to the keyword tool because you will be using it a lot. Earning above average Google Adsense Revenue requires a great understanding of the Keyword importance and how a search engine operates.

Protect Your Google Adsense Account from Getting Banned

June 13th, 2009 at 06:21am Under adsense account

Google Adsense is the leading company in web advertising programs which is a large system of earning for your website. Similar to all other great advertising programs, Google Adsense has well define Terms of Service (ToS) that are required to be strictly followed in order to receive benefits from this great opportunity to earn online.I am sharing some important Adsense tips; some mistakes which should be avoid in order to protect your Adsense account from getting banned by Google Adsense. These tips are gathered from the Google Terms and Conditions and information from FAQ at Google Adsense. You may already know some of these tips but those who don’t know or new to Google Adsense web advertising program I would try to explain it in very simple manners.* Never try to click your own Adsense ads or get them clicked – You know this one very well. This is a surefire way to close you Adsense account. Never tell your office associates or friends to click on them. Keep a check if your family or children are busy increasing your income by clicking your ads and indirectly trying to stop your income. Don’t even think of offering incentives for clicks, using automated clicking tools, or other deceptive software. Adsense is very smart to detect fraudulent clicks. Check the ads which appear on your pages by the Google Preview tool if required.* Avoid changing the Adsense code – There are enough means of Adsense optimization & customizations available to change the color, background or border to suit your needs. Do whatever you want to do outside the code, never fiddle within the ad or the search code. They know it when you do. The search code has more limitations to color and placement, but you should adhere to the rules. The code may stop working and violates the TOS.* Do not run competitive contextual text ad or search services – Never run such ads or services on the same site which offer Google Adsense competition in their field. Never try to create link structures resembling the Adsense ads. Never use other competitive search tools on the same pages which have Adsense powered Google search. They do allow affiliate or limited-text links. Update: Google has allowed you to run contextual advertising like Yahoo ads, Chitika etc provided the ads do not resemble Adsense ads.* Never launch a New Page for clicked ads by default – Adsense ads should open on the same page. You may be using a base target tag to open all links in a new window or frame by default. Correct it now as they do not want new pages opening from clicked ads.* One Account suffices for multiple websites – You do not need to create 5 accounts for 5 different websites. One account will do. If you live in the fears that if one account is closed down for violation of TOS, believe me they will close all accounts when they find out. You can keep track of clicks by using channels with real time statistics. They will automatically detect the new site and display relevant ads.* Place ads only on Content Pages – Advertisers pay only for content based ads. Content drives relevant ads. Although you might manage some clicks from error, login, registration, “thank you” or welcome pages, parking pages or pop ups, it will get you out of the program.* Do not mask ad elements – Alteration of colors and border is a facility to blend or contrast ads as per your site requirements. I have seen many sites where the URL part is of the same color as the background. While blending the ad with your site is a good idea, hiding relevant components of the ads is not allowed. Also do not block the visibility of ads by overlapping images, pop ups, tables etc.* Keep track of your content – So Adsense is not allowed on several non content pages. But it is also not allowed on several content pages too. Do not add it on web pages with MP3, Video, News Groups, and Image Results. Also exclude any pornographic, hate-related, violent, or illegal content.* Avoid excessive advertising and keyword stuffing – Although the definition of ‘excessive’ is a gray area and is subject to discretion, yet Google Adsense with correct placement, focused content and high traffic will get you much more income than other programs, so excessive advertising is not required. Keyword stuffing does target better focused ads, but overdoing it is not required.* Ensure you Language is Supported – Adsense supports “Chinese (simplified), Japanese, Danish, Korean, Dutch, Norwegian, English, Polish, Finnish, Portuguese, French, Russian, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Swedish, Italian and Turkish”. In addition, Adsense for search is available in Czech, Slovak, and Traditional Chinese. If your web pages language is not supported, do not use the code on such pages.* Do not specify Google ads as your alternate ads – Several services like Chitika eMiniMalls allow you to place alternate URLs, when a targeted paying ad cannot be displayed. This involved creating a simple html page and putting the ad to be displayed instead. Even Adsense allows an alternate URL feature instead of displaying public service ads. But never use Adsense ads as alternate URLs.* Do not confuse with adjacent images – It was a common policy to increase CTR by placing same number of images as the number of text ads, which falsely gave the impression that the text ads represented an explanation to these images. Inserting a small space or a line between the images and ads is not allowed. Make sure that the ads and images are not arranged in a way that could easily mislead or confuse your visitors. It is always better to inquire for Adsense help from the educated staff of Google Adsense. This way you can avoid the common mistakes that could ban your Google Adsense Account.
