Under adsense money
Let’s assume that my website gets plenty of visitors every day. I’m wondering, before I waste a lot of time getting into it, if you or anyone you know has actually made money from Google or Yahoo by their publishing/advertising programs. Or do you think they make only pennies for the member and millions for the company?

YES –
Some sites do very well with Adsense (even in the millions of dollars a year) while many more sites do extremely poorly with the program (can’t even earn $10 a month). One of the misconception people have about Adsense is they simply slap it in their websites and it will automatically earn them big money — which is not true as evidenced by the many disgruntled webmasters
Your income will depend on:
- the topic of your site (if you have high paying keywords you stand to earn more)
- responsiveness of users to ad (are visitors coming to your site with blinders in their eye or do they look at the ads as additional complementary resource)
- traffic (you earn more with more traffic, even if you have low paying keywords or other metrics)
- how you implement the ads on your site (some positions and colors work better than others)
I suggest you join the program (you’ve got nothing to lose as it is free) and see how your site will do with it. I’ve been with Adsense since June 2003 and it’s been a GREAT income generating program for us. So for me, Adsense is definitely worth it

Under adsense account
I have made an adsense account at google. I have put 3 ads on my website, and all the ads are relevant (thankfully lol). However, i don’t understand exactly how i make money? My adsense ballance still is at 0.00 even though i know my ads have been viewed and clicked on…(even if only a few times).
Can someone clarify how it actually works?
Thanks!

When you have a web site which generates a certain amount of traffic, you can place the AdSense code on your site which will display ads that other companies pay for; you get a certain amount of money per each click impression you get on that ad;
A few cents per click may seem like nothing, but at the end of the month when google sends out it’s checks; a few 100 clicks amounts to a nice bunch of change.
AdSense works in a way where let’s say I pay Google to put my ads in their AdSense network, you place the AdSense code from Google on your site, someone clicks that ad, I get what I paid for (advertisment) and you get paid for having someone click that link.

Under adsense codes
OK, this is the deal. I have to move my website’s content because my current hosting supports space for up to 20 pages only. This is the second time I have to change my hosting, my former hosting rejected AdSense’s html codes. I’m searching and searching but all I get is so-called free webhosting–they tell you it’s free and then you can’t use features as basic as editing text and grafics instead of html editing, storing files or just enough space for your pages. Do you know better sites providing actually free hosting?

Under adsense codes
Adsense now pays peanuts compared to what they used to.
Does anybody know any other alternatives that actually work?
Something you have tried yourself and seen some actual results?
I tried others but it’s not worth the effort to register and install the code….
