Making A Video Game Review Site?

I have a good idea, im trying to learn HTML an CSS and i thought to myself “what would be a good website for me to test my skills with” and i play video games so i thought why not make a very basic video game review site. Only text and images to begin with of course but then build on it from there, i might even try to sign up for google adsense, and amazon associate so that when people come to the site they can click on the advertisements and i earn a bit of money whilst learning html css etc AND doing something i like doing, informing people about video games whether they’re bad or good, loads of people wanna know if a game is good or bad before they spend money on it, sure there’s loads of review sites already but i still think its a good idea, just wanted a few opinions, what do you think? Is it a good idea?

There are a load of review sites out there, so initial popularity is a pretty big dream. Every great site starts somewhere, though. Testing your skills like that is a great way to get going. Good luck!
