im signing up for adsense to advertise on my website to earn money. Will i be taxed on my income?

Well, it’s your responsibility to report your income accurately when you file your income tax return each year. I would advise you to report any income you make on your adsense venture on your tax return – and yes, it’s taxable – so as to not get yourself into a position where you are going to be audited and owe penalties on unreported income.

It’s really not too much of an issue though – you might make $10 or $20 per YEAR trying to use it, so the IRS won’t even care.
