If no one clicks the ads you don’t make money.

Because you haven’t made any money yet. I would suggest first adding the free Google Web Analytics on your blog. Also, go to google webmaster tools and verify your site, this will show you how googlebot sees your site. Do some keyword research for the topics that you are discussing on your blog, the best keyword research tool is Wordtracker. Don’t just write about everything and anything. Try to pick a niche and be the best resource for a particular topic or category. Learn about search engine marketing and search engine optimization, google those phrases. Make good landing pages, an excellent resource is MarketingExperiments.com. The most important thing is to write quality content, that is, that your blogs have unique content (not copied from anywhere), that it’s informative and interesting to read, making people read it and that you pick a niche topic, like a blog all about buying classic cars, for instance, all the google ads should be about sites advertising classic cars. This is how you will get the most traffic and clicks to the ads. Pick a niche topic that really interests you that way you can write about it alot and never tire of it. Do your research on your niche topic , by googling your topic and go to a bookstore or library and take notes on your topic so you can write quality content. Quality content is the most important factor if you want to write a blog and get lots of clicks to ads.

Ok so first you need to know how much traffic you are getting. I don’t know what blogging platform you are using.
If you have a Wordpress blog I recommend you use a plugin called Statpress, if you are using blogger I recommend using this free site http://www.statcounter.com/
Ok, now you know how much traffic you are getting.
Here is an article to help you increase that traffic:http://www.squidoo.com/get-more-website-…
Now with high traffic, here is an article to help you make more money from that traffic:http://hubpages.com/hub/Ways-How-To-Mone…

The same as me. If nobody visits and clicks the ads on your blog, you won’t earn any money. I’ve just added adsense to my blog. Still, I need to find some ways to increase the visitor. Then I try to write some jokes on it. Check it out if you like.http://zamanfriends.blogspot.com/

It takes A LOT of hits to make money. It also takes clicks. You only get a few cents per click. Also, they don’t send you the money until you have at least $100 so if you are just earning pennies a day….well, don’t hold your breath!
