Say I have a existing site that I currently on Google Adsense ad, if I want to be shown on the very first page if not the very first link. Whats the best way to do it, if i hired a company or webmaster, what kind of money do I have to pay to get that kind of results. Thanks

Optimize your title tag and description, don’t forget to put your expected keyword. Build back link on related site and link with your keyword.
To monitor your position/SERP, you can use google webmaster tool or better statcounter.com as it is real time statistic and free. Keep watching your SERP and optimize it until you get the best SERP as your expectation.

you need to work on the seo of your website such as each page and make sure it is targeted correctly and build backlinks. But most importantly make sure you do it correctly or it could hurt your website.
This is also a long term answer to gaining traffic for free.
