How To Add Adsense For Contents To My Website?

Hello there,
I’m currently using the google adsense. When I try to add the adsense for search it work’s. But, when I try to add adsense for contents and referal, etc….The ads and links were not been displayed on my sites and blogs. They only displays the google search box.
Please help me telling how I have to paste their code in my blog, website’s properly. Please tell me in simple language if possible step wise. Because I’m not getting the way which is mentioned there at the adsense site. I do not have html editor, if it is necessary then please tell me which one is more easy to use and download.

No, you do not need a html editor.. Go to your user account for adsense and make your ad…Design your ad properly..For Example….If you want a banner than choose the full or half banner and design it to your liking..Once done it will generate a code….Copy this code (right-click, Copy) and paste the code(right-click paste) into your blog as a html code…Google has a great help section if this does not get you going..Good luck
