How Profitable Is Adsense?

Posted by Adsense Enquirer on October 21st, 2009 at 05:26pm

I have a blog at blogger.com and they have a new feature that allows you to place ads in your blog. This will allow the blogger the chance to make money from their blog.
Has anyone else ever heard of this and how profitable is it? Is it worth my time to check into it? I know I can find this out from the website but I’d really like people’s opinion on this- prefereably opinions from people who has prior experience with this.
Thanks.

You only get a small percentage of the cost per click so unless you have a website that draws thousands of unique visitors each day it’s not worth the hassle. You would have to have daily unique visitors in the 10s of thousands in order for you to make any significant income with AdSense since you only get about 0.005 cents (that’s half of a cent) per click. I’ve tried it and it’s not worth it.
On the flip side if your site is very popular you could be making hundreds of dollars each day. I would focus on making your site popular and then worry about AdSense later.
    Hope that helps.

Adsense can be quite profitable indeed, but how much it will earn you is hard to say, a single click can earn you anywhere between 0,01$ and 3,50$, or even more!
It depends on your topic, your niche, your visitors, your layout, your target-geography, your ad-placement, your tuning, …
On average, you earn about 0,50$ to 1,00$ per 100 unique visitors per day.

You might make $2 a month if you are really lucky. But everyone will see you blog is covered with advertising and avoid the site. They know that you are trying to make money off them by getting them to click on a banner ad. Everyone knows about that trick.
There are 133 million blogs on the internet today.

It would be profitable if it an information kind of blog not an interactive or services kind of blog. But then whatever it is no traffic mean no money.

Adsense can be very profitable if your website is popular. Readers would have to come to your site and click on the links provided by Google Adsense for you to make money.
