Usually adsense ads get clicked by visitor from the search engine. This visitor are looking for information they really need in that moment. So whatever that catch their eyes on that moment will get the click. Traffic other than search engine such as from bookmarking or networking sites like digg or stumbleupon usually give CTR less than 1%.
