  another idea other than search engine advertising is ’sister site’ advertising. You can contact the owner of a similar site and get them to put a link to your site on their site and vise versa… If you don’t want to do that as they are your competition, then you could do the same with non-similar sites. You also want to make sure that your site is easy to navigate and use, so that people are willing to come back. Good luck
