Say you find a video on youtube you really like and you want to put it on your web site, and your website makes money from adsense or a similar advertising system. Is that legal?

Yeah, that’s legal. Just copy and paste the code at the bottom of the video.
Just don’t claim that it’s your video and you’ll be fine.

Yer you can, just select the embedded bit in the more information. If users dont want you to embedd their videos, they can disable it, so assuming its up there, it sounds like your alright!
