Yes they can! After that law suit a year or so back, Google has been watching the click-per-pay very closely. Like the other contributor said, they are monitoring IP addresses and so forth. Good luck!

Your adsense account can be disable for invalid clicks. If they see your traffic is fraud. also if you got fraud clicks from some where you dont know and you dont make it bare your mind by report to adsense before they disable your account.
