Ad Service Other Than Google Adsense?

Awhile back I had made a website as a school business project and put google adsense ads on it. We made little revenue at the start so one of my partners started clicking on the ads daily. This got us up to like 70$ but than I received an e-mail saying the account was banned. Ok, well fair enough. I wasn’t really bummed and I still got a high mark on the project so it was ok. The only problem now is that I have started a new website which get at least 20x the traffic the old one had but I’m only making revenue with Kontera ads which suck. With Kontera ads up 3 months on my site I have only made 8 dollars. Google won’t take me back ether.
My question is… what is the best ad service other than Google Adsense? I don’t think yahoo will work because I am a Canadian citizen and don’t have an American id or something. They ask for something that is unique to Americans and I don’t have it.

Unless you have quite a bit of traffic, AdWords and Yahoo Publishing Network are the best for Contextual Text Ads.
I suggest giving Affiliate Marketing a go, all you do is promote products and if visitors buy them, you get a commission (often more than $20). A good place to get started with affiliate marketing is http://forums.digitalpoint.com/
Maybe you should ‘hire a contractor to put ads on your site’ – ie. Your mum, dad, sister, brother. Get them to sign up with their details, put the ads on your site, and give them a percentage of the profit.

No other ad service will pay as much as google adsense, because advertisers bid large amounts for google adword ads. You could try http://www.bidvertiser.com
